CCHS is dedicated to improving animal welfare in a variety of ways. Our work is inspired by the support and commitment of our volunteers and community members who share our passion for animal rescue.
Adopt an Animal
We have wonderful cats and dogs eagerly awaiting adoption to suitable and loving homes. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, sterilized, microchipped, and receive appropriate vaccines. Additionally, dogs are tested for heartworms, and cats are tested for feline leukemia/aids. We do it all for you. After you adopt your new pet, you have nothing to do but love them, care for them, and allow them to be your best friend.

Your support is essential to the continued success of CCHS. As a 501 (c)(3) organization, every donation you make is tax-deductible and directly benefits the animals in our care. Your financial contributions help us to provide food, shelter, medical care, and other essential services to the animals, and ensure that we can continue rescuing animals in need. Volunteer
At CCHS, we depend on our volunteers to help us carry out our mission of rescuing animals and finding them loving homes. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities, including volunteering at our shelter, participating in events, or working at our thrift store. Our volunteers are an integral part of our organization, and we couldn't do it without them!
Shop our thrift store
Two by Two, our thrift store, is much more than just a place to shop. When you shop with us, you're not only getting great deals on unique, previously loved items, you're also supporting our non-profit organization. Every dollar you spend goes directly toward the care of our animals. We couldn't do what we do without our amazing thrift store customers!
