IN MEMORY OF A WONDERFUL MAN AND A FRIEND TO ALL ANIMALS, WE SAY GOODBYE TO
ROBERT (BOB) VALIANDO

On January 21, 2014, the world lost someone very special; someone who had once served as President of the Clayton County Humane Society and had been a lifelong animal advocate.  Robert Valiando and his wife, Elizabeth have always “walked the walk”…..rescuing many animals over the years, sheltering them in their own home, and being a constant source of support to Clayton County Humane Society.  They raised 3 beautiful daughters to follow in their footsteps of love and respect for all animals.

Clayton County Humane Society will honor Bob’s memory by initiating a new fund in his name, and we will also present an annual community service award which will bear his name.  “The Bob Valiando Spay/Neuter Fund” has been funded initially by donations made by Bob’s family and friends.  Going forward, we hope http://onhealthy.net that this fund will continue to grow through donations made specifically for this project.  These funds will be used for animals who would otherwise go unaltered.  Eligibility will be determined on a case by case basis.  If anyone wishes to donate specifically to “The Bob Valiando Spay/Neuter Fund”, please note this on whatever form of payment you choose for your donation.  Bob’s family will be notified each time a donation is made.

“The Bob Valiando Community Service Award” will be presented annually.  This award will honor an individual, group or business, from the local community, who has performed a community service by supporting and assisting in the work being done at Clayton County Humane Society.  The first award will be presented December 2014, and the presentation will be made by Bob’s family.
